Workshop Options

Choose from a wide array of leadership topics and workshops listed below. All workshops can be single sessions or offered as a workshop series of up to 5 per semester.

Basic Workshops (1 hour)

Inclusive Leadership: Learn about power, privilege, and systems of oppression as well as tools to create positive change in today's ever-changing society. Choose from the following workshops:

  • Exploring Identities
  • Systems of Privilege and Oppression
  • Inclusive Language

Leadership Skills and Applications: Learn practical leadership skills to apply in your everyday life with a focus on time management, goal setting, and communication. Choose from the following workshops:

  • Managing Time Effectively
  • Goal Setting and Action Planning
  • The Art of Facilitation

Organizational Leadership: Develop skills that will enhance your ability to effectively lead groups to organizations. Choose from the following workshops: 

  • Group Dynamics, Team Asset Mapping, and the SWOT Analysis
  • Strategies for Productive Conflict Resolution

Principles of Leadership: Develop an understanding of some of the fundamentals of leadership, from values and mission to ethics and integrity. Choose from the following workshops:

  • Understanding Leadership Styles
  • Personal Values and Mission
  • Mentoring and Empowering Others

Service Leadership: Learn how to best engage in service to your community. Choose from the following workshop:

  • Community Asset Mapping
  • Advocacy and Activism

Teambuilding Workshops (1-3 hours)

Leadership on Demand facilitators can help your group develop stronger relationships through specially tailored team-builders to meet your organization’s needs.

  • Relationship Building activities will help build group cohesion by having participants getting to know each other better and feel more comfortable as a unit.
  • Teambuilding activities are aimed at practicing group skills in a safe space. Activities can focus on building trust, cooperation, good communication, and collaboration.
  • High Trust activities will help participants feel physically, emotionally, and personally safe within the group to build deep trust with their team.
  • Problem Solving activities will challenge participants to work together to solve intellectual and physical problems  using team skills such as collaboration, communication, and trust.

​Advanced Focus Workshops (2-3 hours)

StrengthsQuest:
Based on the Clifton StrenghtsFinder, the StrengthsQuest session will help participants discover their talents and better understand how they can use their talents to achieve success.

  • StrengthsQuest I: Introduction to Strengths (Pre-requisite for StrengthsQuest II)
    • This session will focus on understanding the many strengths present in your group and will begin to investigate how to better utilize a strengths-based approach to maximize relationships and productivity.
  • StrengthsQuest II: Using a Strengths Approach in Groups
    •  This session will focus on the interplay of group strengths and how to create an environment that effectively capitalizes on a strengths-based approach. 

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI):
The Myers Brigg Type Indicator (MBTI) will help you and your team identify your unique gifts and how to best utilize them within your organization.

  • MBTI I: Introduction to MBTI (Pre-requisite for MBTI II)
    • Using the MBTI inventory, this session will introduce you to the MBTI Type Indicator and help you better understand your verified MBTI Type.
  • MBTI II: MBTI Type Dynamics and Development
    • This session will dig deeper into the MBTI and explore the eight basic mental functions and how we utilize them on a daily basis.

Custom Workshops

If your group has a specific need that is not addressed by any of our existing workshops, we can tailor a specific workshop for your needs.

Leadership On Demand must be notified a minimum of 4 weeks in advance all custom workshops. This will provide the staff with ample time to assess your organization’s needs, and create tailored workshop curriculum.
